It get really hard to substract boolean an object and then Fillet the edges. Sadly I understand that the T splines plug in now only works with Rhino version 5. t splines rhino I understand in your Hyder Aliyev Center you call for T splines as a plug in. I design and 3d model jewelry and tiny earbuds on a regular bases. Rhino.v2.-RedT keygen 9935 TSPLINES RHINO patch 11816 > Download T-Splines 2.3 r6240 Plugin for Rhino. The conversion from SubD to Nurbs needs to get better. Stitch is the command to weld disjoint points together, join will merge coincident points.Īgreed, we are discussing how best to implement this.Ħ- Finally and most important in my opinion. If you ctrl+click the button, and look at the included options, is there a right click option added to your button? Noted- this is on the list for future development. Yep- on the list and we are working on how to best implement this. I still love Rhino, but SubD needs more work. ![]() It does a terrible job in all the pieces I’ve tried to use it. Maybe that I’m here … Filleting function has gone backwards in my opinion. It’s crazy difficult to get water tight geometry. It gets really hard to substract boolean an object, and then Fillet the edges. ![]() I design and 3d model jewelry and tiny earbuds on a regular bases. The conversion from SubD to Nurbs ( and vice versa ) needs to get better. I know you can select R and it goes away, but for me is time saving to have the right click mouse function.Ĥ- Joining points (Weld points in t-splines), I would love to have that back.Ħ-Finaly and most important in my opinion. This two are very important for work flow.ģ- The right click button command ( Remove Symmetry) is not working anymore. There should be able to have 1, 2 or 3 axes of symmetry. If you need more data / design files I can see if I can dig out one of the cases where this recently happened.Let’s see, I have several functions ( for me) that need to be improved.ġ- Symmetry (Reflect in SubD) : Right now this command can only do ONE symmetry plane/axe at a time. It obviously doesn't happen with each spline, but when it does it has a devastating effect on the workflow, because there really is not workaround for it. Generally surfacing and interactively developing shapes in Fusion 360 works beautifully and fluently and is really enjoyable if it would not be for this issue with 3D splines and G1 an G2 constraints. This 3D spline issue renders Fusion 360 virtually useless for all but the most simple surfacing tasks. ![]() I apologize if my attitude comes across as rather forceful and perhaps even aggressive! This is also either a really old issue or simply very frequently reoccurring issue. I've come across this same issue in each of the last three projects that required a simple 3D blend curve. Rohit to me, it's a simple case that may reveal a generic issue, a solution to which can benefit in many situations. This is where I am sort of coming at that, what we need to investigate is that why with active tangent handle, a two-point fit point spline is not getting solved properly in general with G2 constraint?Īccording to me, it's a simple case that may reveal a generic issue, a solution to which can benefit in many situations. So theoretically, yes a fit point spline shouldn't need more than 2 points but if you see finding with more than 2 fit points the solve is even worse. According to me something, somewhere, somehow (which debugging the file can reveal) the spline solver is not getting enough freedom when it comes to moving the point of active tangent handles. I just wanted to rule out some of the possibilities with strange behaviors related to Active Tangent handle. I was focussing more on the tangent handle behaviour and its impact on the spline. Hello it is true that fit point spline is internally a degree 5 spline and I agree with you.
